In this workshop we will begin to knit a fabulous Intarisa cushion cover in Rowan’s gorgeous Felted Tweed. Definitely one of my favourite yarns.
You will receive the full pattern book Kaffe Fassett’s Felted Tweed which contains a number of patterns. In this book there are 3 different cushion ideas. You will choose your colours to work your own cushion.
You will need 3.75mm and 4mm needles to knit the cushion (it unlikely we’ll get to the back of the cushion during the day so just 4mm for the day itself). I will have some for sale on the day if required.
I will provide the FULL pattern book (lots of other yummy patterns too) plus enough Felted Tweed for you to finish your project.
We’ll talk about the different ways of managing the yarn and how to estimate the yardage you’ll need.
We’ll provide free tea and coffee all day. Lunch can be bought on site in the cafe (and lovely it is too) or feel free to bring your own.
