Sue and I saw this gorgeous shawl at a recent trade fair. We both loved it and thought it would make a great project to run a crochet along (CAL).
The pattern is from West Yorkshire Spinners and I thought we would use their brand new ColourLab to make the shawl (although there is an option for you to use something different if you prefer!)
OK, enough with the waffle... here's the details!
There will be six sessions for the CAL with the first on 11th May. You can choose which sessions to attend. Availability and how much help you actually need will be the deciders I think.
The experience level for this shawl is shown on the pattern as 4 out of 5 however as we are working together and helping each other I believe this can be tackled by an adventurous beginner. You must as a minimum know the basic crochet stitches.
Dates for each session are:
Saturday 11th May
Friday 24th May
Saturday 8th June
Monday 24th June
Saturday 13th July
Tuesday 23rd July
Each session will start at 10:30 and finish at 13:30 approx. Feel free to bring your lunch.
We will supply:
4 x balls of ColourLab
Eloise crochet shawl pattern
Tote bag for your project.
Tea and coffee
You should bring:
5mm crochet hook
6mm crochet hook
Darning needle and scissors
The total cost for this CAL is £40.
As usual spaces are limited so please book by phone or mail or just pop in to the shop.
